Vegetable CSA, Laying Hens, Orchard, Compost
Date
2010 - 2014
Location
Bluffton, GA
White Oak Pastures is a six generation farm best known for its large scale, multi-species, regenerative grazing model of agriculture. During Tripp's tenure as Organic Farm Director, he oversaw multiple enterprises: 13 acres of CSA vegetable production, 6500 laying hens on pasture with eggs marketed primarily to Whole Foods and CSA, an Heirloom Orchard, and windrow composting of the farm's organic waste. White Oak is a very special place and it defies brief description. If you're ever in the neighborhood, we highly recommend booking a cabin, taking a tour and catching a bite at the general store/restaurant.
